IMAGE SHOOTING APPARATUS AND BLUR CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the stable camera shake correction effect in a method of camera shake correction using image processing.

SOLUTION: An image shooting apparatus includes: a blur correction processing portion adapted to correct blur in a normal exposure image shot with a proper exposure time based on the normal exposure image and a short exposure image shot with an exposure time shorter than the exposure time of the normal exposure image; and a correction control portion adapted to control whether to make the blur correction processing portion execute blur correction processing. The correction control portion estimates the degree of blur in the short exposure image and only when the degree of blur is relatively small, the correction control portion makes the blur correction processing portion execute blur correction processing.
