PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the wiping performance of a wiper device for a vehicle by straightening the flow of travel wind at both longitudinal ends of a fin to stabilize the behavior of a wiper blade. SOLUTION: The wiper device has a wiper arm fixed to a pivot shaft on the vehicle side and the wiper blade 15 attached to the distal end of the wiper arm. The wiper blade 15 includes a rubber holder 31 and a blade rubber 32 and the rubber holder 31 is provided with the fin 41 extending from both longitudinal ends of the wiper blade 15 to the intermediate portion thereof and projecting toward the opposite side of a windshield. Both of the longitudinal ends of the fin 41 are provided with a straightening portion 51 having four straightening grooves 51a, which straightens the flow of travel wind at the longitudinal ends of the fin 41 using the straightening portion 51 to improve the wiping performance of the wiper device during traveling of the vehicle.
