PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body in which a release film for protecting a vacuum-packaged product from contamination of dust or the like can be easily released and removed in relation to the packaging body having the release film, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The peripheral edge of a double film made by laminating a packaging material film with a sealant layer and the release film is sealed with the sealant layers of the packaging material film being opposed mutually. The release film and the packaging material film are releasably stuck at the peripheral edge part, and the storing part except the peripheral edge parts is not stuck together. In a packaging bag formed as described above, a solid content is stored between the packaging material films, the bag is degassed, and a gas is sealed between the release film and the packaging material film.
