PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a change to driving conditions depending on a moving direction even when the height of rack teeth is small. SOLUTION: A pickup moving module has an optical pickup 14 for irradiating a light beam to an optical disk 100, a moving axis 20A passing through the optical pickup 14 disposed in parallel to the radius direction of the optical disk 100, and a spiral screw groove 24A disposed in parallel to the moving axis 20A, and has a lead screw 22 to be rotated by a motor 21 which is a predetermined driving means and a rack 30 as a rack section moving in the parallel direction depending on the rotation of the lead screw 24 while rack teeth 31 and 32 connected to the optical pickup 14 and protruded to the lead screw with a predetermined height in the vertical direction to the optical disk 100 are disposed so as to engage with lead screw 24.
