PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic system for precisely determining the traveling direction of a vehicle. SOLUTION: An upstream side roadside communication device 1 provided with a beacon head is installed on a lane of the road merging into an intersection A and a downstream side roadside communication device 2 is installed on the downstream side of the upstream side roadside communication vehicle 1 in the vehicle traveling direction. An roadside processor 3 is connected to the upstream side roadside communication vehicle 1 and the downstream side roadside communication device 2, and receives uplink information received from a vehicle. The roadside processor 3 determines that a vehicle having a vehicle ID is traveling toward the intersection A when it is determined that uplink information including a vehicle ID the same as a vehicle ID included in the uplink information received by the upstream side roadside communication device 1 is received by the downstream side roadside communication device 2 as well within a prescribed time.
