PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake holding control device for a vehicle capable of maintaining a stopping state of the vehicle by proper holding pressure. SOLUTION: This braking pressure holding control device for the vehicle includes: an acceleration acquisition means 22 to acquire an output value of an acceleration sensor 93 to detect acceleration in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; a first filter 23A to restrict a change in the output value of the acceleration sensor 93 in a direction equivalent to the front of the vehicle, a gear position determination means 24 to determine whether a gear position of the vehicle is a forward advancing gear or not, a conversion means 25 to convert a first acceleration filter value Af treated and output by the first filter 23A to a holding pressure PH when the gear position determined by the gear position determination means 24 is the forward advancing gear and a holding practice means 29 to practice holding of the braking pressure in accordance with the holding pressure PH.
