An electric power generating apparatus using the animal and wind and a method thereof are provided to generate the electricity because the energy according to the rotation can be converted to the electrical energy. An electric power generating apparatus using the animal and wind comprises a rotary shaft drive unit(12), a speed increasing unit(13), and a generating unit(14). The rotary shaft drive unit generates rotation using the power of the animal and wind alternatively. The speed increasing unit is connected to the rotary shaft drive unit in order to increase the speed of the rotation. The generating unit converts the rotation into the electricity depending on the output of the speed increasing unit. |
