A method for providing of IPTV(Internet Protocol Television and system) and the system for the same are provided to calculate an estimated time of arrival based on traffic information transmitted from a preceding vehicle. In a method for providing of IPTV(Internet Protocol TeleVision and system) and the system for the same, an IPTV control center transmits IPTV broadcast data including at least one of a broadcast content and traffic information. A GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver(410) receives location information transmitted from an artificial satellite. An IPTV module(420) receives IPTV broadcast data from the IPTV control center. A controller part(430) output an estimated time of arrival with an alarm for a place passed through. |
