FIELD: heating. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns constructional elements of grate coolers used for bulk material cooling. Invention claims grate cooler including control device with controller case attached under cooling grate. Controller case moves together with cooling grate and is washed by cooling air. An internal body which can perform translational motion under influence of cooling air is installed inside controller case. As the internal body washed with cooling air rises higher inside the case, free flow area left for cooling air is changing automatically. ^ EFFECT: automatic device of cooling air control, with simple construction, for easy application both for immobile and particularly for mobile zones of cooling grate of mobile systems of cooling grates. ^ 10 cl, 3 dwg
