PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink sheet for heat-sensitive transfer recording which imparts a full color image excellent in light fastness.

SOLUTION: The ink sheet for heat-sensitive transfer recording contains a dye donor layer containing a magenta coloring matter that is a mixture of at least one coloring matter of anthraquinone series represented by general formulae (1)-(4) and coloring matter of azo series.
