<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly sensitive and smooth transferring under the condition that not shifting of dye, additive or the like, included in the thermal transfer layer of a thermal transfer recording medium, develops, the blocking of the thermal transfer media is prevented from developing, and that the welding of the surface of the thermal transfer layer to the surface of the body to be thermally transferred by heat at its confrontation with the surface of the body to be thermally transferred. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer recording medium with at least a colorant layer on the support, the colorant layer includes at least a binder and particles under the condition that the whole surfaces of the particles are covered with the binder and, at the same time, some part or the whole of the surface of the colorant layer has an uneven shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
