摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform filter regeneration control with a high frequency for regenerating a particulate filter, in an internal combustion engine having the particulate filter in an exhaust passage, in relation to a control device of the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This control device includes the internal combustion engine 10 for performing stoichiometric burn operation as basic control of the air-fuel ratio for controlling so as to become the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio, and includes a motor 12 capable of idly driving (pumping driving) the internal combustion engine 10. The exhaust passage 14 of the internal combustion engine 10 has the particulate filter (a PM filter) 20 for collecting particulate matter PM included in exhaust gas. When a regeneration condition is realized for performing the filter regeneration control for regenerating the PM filter 20, the internal combustion engine 10 is idly driven by the motor 12, and opening of a throttle valve 28 arranged in an intake system of the internal combustion engine 10 is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
