<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life jacket with sufficient breathability for accommodating a split buoyant material. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 4 is accommodated in a back body, a right front body and a left front body of the life jacket, and in the housing 4, an outer part 4a is sewn in a bag-like shape using a mesh body 5 having a fiber directed in a thickness direction. The inside of the housing 4 is divided by a plurality of partition bodies 4b and is divided to a plurality of parts. Divided buoyant material 6 are accommodated in the housing 4. The mesh body 5 comprises a front side mesh part 5a formed with meshes by a thin fiber bundle with a clearance at front and rear sides, a back side mesh part 5b and a fiber 10 directed in a clearance in the thickness direction. Since the fiber 10 is formed in a curved shape and interposed between the front and back mesh parts 5a, 5b, the front and back mesh parts 5a, 5b are retained so as to have a clearance by the elasticity of the fiber 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
