PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air treatment apparatus capable of widely diffusing ions produced in a charging part in a casing and reliably charging airborne dust and thus improving dust collecting capability. SOLUTION: Ions contained in air passed through a charging part (20) are attracted in a direction different from an air current direction of a blower fan (16) by an induction electrode (40) and the ions are diffused widely in a casing (11).
