摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quenching detection apparatus capable of detecting, in an early stage, a quenching phenomenon of a superconducting apparatus and a superconducting wire even if there exist components of inductance, capacitance, and resistance in the superconducting apparatus and superconducting wire. <P>SOLUTION: The voltages at both ends of the superconducting apparatus are detected with voltage detectors 14a and 14b, and a differential voltage calculation means 15 operates a differential voltage between the voltages detected by the voltage detector 14a and 14b at both ends of the superconducting apparatus. A Fourier transformation means 16 Fourier-transforms the differential voltage between the voltages at both ends of the superconducting apparatus that has been acquired with the differential voltage operation means 15.
