PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a linear motion device, having improved wear property against rolling elements by surely holding lubricating oil existing between the rolling elements. SOLUTION: The separator 1 for the linear motion device, which is mounted between a plurality of rolling elements 2, 2 rollingly arranged between a first member and a second member having raceway surfaces opposite each other, has holding faces 1a on the opposite faces of the rolling elements for receiving the rolling surfaces of the rolling elements.
