摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for effectively and economically preventing a reduction in the fatigue life due to hydrogen. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 100 comprises rolling elements, and bearing rings 10, 10 on which the rolling elements 20 roll. Each of the rolling elements 20 or at least one of the bearing rings 10, 10 is formed of a steel material whose surface has a total nitrogen and carbon concentration of 1.0 mass% or higher as a result of carburization or carbonitriding, whose surface has a remaining austenite amount of 45-70 vol%, and which has a surface hardness of Hv600 or more.
