PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass panel packing body for stably securing a tightening force with respect to piled glass panels without increased weight and for not easily causing damage to the end of the glass panels. SOLUTION: A plurality of pads 5 pressing each middle position between the center and four corners of a glass panel 3 are positioned mutually separated on the foremost surface side of the piled glass panels 4 piled and supported by the support surface 2a of a pallet 2. nonflexible pressing bars 6 each having both longitudinal ends 6a sticking out from the piled glass panels 4, and tightening members 7 each pulling in the ends 6a of the pressing bar 6 toward the support surface 2a are positioned on the front surface side of the pads 5.
