PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing with a high-quality cage which can be stably manufactured into a compact figure by a molding device and on the large-diameter side of which a hitching structure can be formed to engage with a bearing inner ring while preventing strength degradation and stress concentration, and to provide a manufacturing method for the tapered roller bearing cage which can be used for the tapered roller bearing. SOLUTION: The tapered roller bearing has a large-diameter side annular portion 34a, a small-diameter side annular portion 34b, and columnar portions 34c connecting the large-diameter side annular portion 34a to the small-diameter side annular portion 34b. Tapered rollers 23 are stored in pockets 34d formed between the peripherally adjacent columnar portions, and the large-diameter side annular portion can engage with the tapered roller inner ring 21 via a hitching structure part M. The molding device has a pocket forming core 43 for molding the pockets 34d between the peripherally adjacent columnar portions.
