PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for precisely controlling the fractionation performance of a separation membrane without modifying the separation membrane. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a separation membrane formed by dissolving a polymer to form a dope raw liquid, obtaining a film-like matter by solidification, washing the film-like matter and drying it, an aqueous solution containing 0.1-40 wt.% of a solute with the vapor pressure at 20°C of 0.005-1000 Pa and a surface tension of 44-60 mN/m is impregnated into the film-like matter.
