A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of the following mechanisms connected in series: a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner shaped as a hollow cone, and also of an unloading conveyer. The cleaner is made as two parts, arranged into each other, each of which is formed by two hollow cones, the vertexes of which are directed to each other. The lower hollow cones of each part have outlet openings as two sleeves arranged at angle to a longitudinal axle of the cones formed by round rods mounted with gaps in such a manner that sleeves of the upper part have the longitudinal arrangement of the rods and sleeves of the lower part the transversal arrangement of the rods. Under the lower part of the cleaner an immovable guide of tuberous roots is arranged, and annular gaps between the sleeve parts and the guide are reduced in the downward direction. |
