The device has horizontal connecting elements (3) detachably connected to multiple ballast elements (1). A rope holder has a section (4c) running upwards in a vertical direction. The ballast elements are arranged adjacent to each other. The rope holder is positioned between the ballast elements such that the surfaces of the ballast elements rest at the section or rest at a cylindrical section, which surrounds the section (4c). The cylindrical section is made of rubber or rubber granulates. An independent claim is also included for a fall prevention device system comprising a fastening part.
