The device (20) has a cable channel (21) with side arms whose free edge sections are formed as right-angled flat bending sections and arranged inwardly. Each arm has retaining openings arranged along the bending section in regular grid spacing. A holder strip (22) has carrying sections whose flat sides are oriented parallel to the bending sections and co-ordinated on width of the bending sections. Each carrying section has retaining projections which are co-ordinated at the grid spacing of the openings. The projections engage-behind another carrying section in the openings and at a free edge.
