The lamp has a bearing plate (18) fastened on a housing (10), and supporting a socket of an illuminating unit (40) i.e. spiral-wound filament illuminating unit. A hood is attached to the housing, and is made of a transparent or translucent material, and a sleeve (44) is arranged between the bearing plate and a base (16) of the housing. A rotating mirror (26) is rotatably supported on the bearing plate, and an electric motor (32) is attached to a lower side of the bearing plate for driving the plate. Inner dimension of the sleeve is larger than an outer dimension of the socket for the unit.
