PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of notifying a user of receiving side communication terminal of only information related to a state of another communication terminal required by the user by controlling and managing a report (notification) of the information related to the state of the other communication terminal to the user. SOLUTION: Communication terminals 120; a terminal A, 130; a terminal X, 140; a terminal Y, and 150; a terminal Z include an ad hoc communication control part 170, a reception quality determining part (radio field strength measuring part 180, control part 220) for determining the reception quality of a signal received by the ad hoc communication control part 170, and a notification message managing part 200 for reporting (notifying) states of the other communication terminals on the basis of the information related to the states of the other communication terminals received by the ad hoc communication control part 170, wherein the notification message managing part 200 reports the states of the other communication terminals on the basis of the reception quality of the information related to the states of the other communication terminals determined by the reception quality determining part.
