<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect disconnection of a distribution line inexpensively, and to determine a failure of a radio communication unit. <P>SOLUTION: A system for detecting disconnection of a high voltage distribution line comprises a plurality of radio communication units, and a processor. Each radio communication unit is connected to a secondary side of a specific pole transformer, operates or does not operate according to power supply from the specific pole transformer, and performs wireless communication only with some of the plurality of radio communication units. The processor collects data on the operation state of at least some of the plurality of radio communication units as data showing the presence of a response through wireless communication between the radio communication units, and detects disconnection of the distribution line or a failure of a radio communication unit from the data stored in a data storage section for storing the data of a pole transformer and the pole or position where the pole transformer is installed in association with the data of a radio communication unit connected with the pole transformer and a distribution line connected with the pole transformer, and the data showing the presence of a response from the radio communication unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
