<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which does not cause blotch and development stripes even in a high-speed developing system and an intermittent paper feeding mode. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method includes: a process of charging an electrostatic charge image carrier for carrying a charge image; a process of forming an electrostatic charge image on the charged electrostatic charge image carrier; and a process of developing the electrostatic charge image by using a toner on a developing sleeve to form a toner image, wherein the developing sleeve is coated with an Ni plating layer containing a metal element of electronegativity of 2.00 or more, at least on the uppermost surface of the developing sleeve, the toner is a magnetic toner having magnetic toner particles which contain at least a binder resin and magnetic iron oxide particles, and the magnetic iron oxide particles contain Fe(2+) by 20.0 mass% to 25.0 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
