PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine which has a simple and inexpensive structure and generates an image in which the area of a wide range is imaged. SOLUTION: A variable n indicating the number of the image to be imaged is set to be 1 (S1). An embroidery frame is moved to the position of a first image (S2), the image is imaged by an image sensor (S3), and the imaged image is stored in a first partial image of a partial image storage area (S4). Since all the images are not imaged (S5:NO), the variable n is set to be 2 (S6), the embroidery frame is moved to the position of a second image (S2), the image is imaged by the image sensor (S3), and it is stored in a second partial image of the partial image storage area (S4). The steps of S2-S6 are repeated, and when all the images are imaged (S5:YES), the thickness of a working cloth is detected by a potentiometer (S7), and correction is performed on the partial image by a parameter (S8).
