<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for productionof inorganic particles, capable of reclaiming papermaking sludge in a large quantity as papermaking materials such as a coating pigment and a papermaking filler, causing no scale trouble nor the like in use as the papermaking filler or the coating pigment, and having good dispersibility. <P>SOLUTION: The method for production of inorganic particles, using papermaking sludge as the raw material, is provided, which method includes a heat treatment step of heat-treating the papermaking sludge, a step of preparing a suspension liquid of the burned product dispersion liquid-making by mixing the heat-treated baked products with water, and a carbonation step of contacting carbon dioxide or a carbon dioxide-containing gas with the baked product dispersion liquid, wherein the baked product dispersion liquid has≤70°C liquid temperature and the time till contacting with the carbon dioxide or the carbon dioxide-containing gas, in the carbonation step, is≤9 hr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
