PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a moisture-resistant lightweight molded article capable of using also in water or in a high-humidity circumstance, and excellent in an appearance. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a moisture-resistant lightweight molded article is characterized by melting a thermoplastic resin composition containing 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin and 0.001-0.5 pts.wt. chemical foaming agent which consists only of an organic foaming agent with an injection molding apparatus which has a two-step compression screw, and supplying a physical foaming agent to the molten thermoplastic resin composition from an intermediate portion of a cylinder of the injection molding apparatus, whereby an injection foaming is performed.
