PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus for implementing a useful route guide if a satellite positioning is disabled. SOLUTION: A first left/right turning intersection 304 on a recommended route 301 is calculated as a first route change point after a vehicle transits a 0-th reference point as a vehicle point 303 when the satellite positioning is disabled (a). A guide map (320) for representing a map of an area including the 0-th reference point and the first route change point along with a recommended route graphic 312 for indicating the recommended route 301 is displayed along with guide information 330 on the first route change point. The guide information 330 includes: an intersection name 331 of the intersection as the first route change point; a guide image 332 for indicating a landmark and a structure of the intersection; a graphic 333 for indicating the transit direction in accordance with the recommended route 301 of the intersection; a travel distance 334 from the 0-th reference point to the first route change point; and a display 335 associated with a feature of a road in a road zone.
