PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate lay-out of a controller for a discharge lamp. SOLUTION: Head light units 27a, 27b are arranged within a front cowl 19 covering the front part of a head pipe 3 of a vehicle body frame 2. Controllers 69, 70 for a discharge lamp are fixed to case side walls 71, 72 of the head light units 27a, 27b placed at the central side of the vehicle body. The controllers 69, 70 are arranged while being displaced to each other in a forward or rearward direction and an upward or downward direction of the vehicle body. Running wind fed from below the front cowl 19 passes between the head light units 27a, 27b to cool the controllers 69, 70 and then completely passes through louvers of an instrument panel 20.
