PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose having a metallic appearance approximate to a case of covering a reinforcing layer formed of only a conventional metallic wire with a transparent resin exterior layer, even if the reinforcing layer of the water supply or hot water supply hose is any material, or particularly a composite structure formed of polyester fiber reinforcement or polyester fiber and a metallic wire. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by covering the reinforcing layer, by using resin of mixing a particulate having at least a surface of metal or metallic oxide with a transparent resin material, as an exterior layer in the water supply or hot water supply hose including at least an inner surface layer tube, the reinforcing layer including fiber for covering its outer periphery and the exterior layer for covering the outer periphery of the reinforcing layer.
