PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor for measuring hair characteristics and an evaluation apparatus and an evaluation method using the sensor for measuring hair characteristic which objectively evaluate a feeling that a person feels with regard to the hair. SOLUTION: The sensor for measuring hair characteristics includes a support having a comb-shaped part for combing the hair, a detecting means arranged on the support and includes polyvinylidene fluoride as a piezoelectric converting material for converting vibrations generated when the support body combs the hair into electric signals, and an output means for outputting the signal generated by the detecting means.
