PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope excellent in assembling workability and repairing workability. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic endoscope 1 includes a leading end drive unit 30, which is constituted by providing an ultrasonic vibrator 31, an encoder part 34, and a drive motor 35, built in the leading end part of the insertion part 2 extended from an operation part 3, and a scope connector 5 is provided in the base end part of the universal cord 4 extended from the operation part 3. A plurality of substrates 52, 53 and 54 for controlling the ultrasonic vibrator 31, the encoder part 34 and the drive motor 35 are arranged in the same space. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
