PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing original plate excellent in flexibility; or to provide a polymer suitable for manufacturing a printing plate. SOLUTION: In the polymer, a polycarbonate diol composed of a repeating unit represented by formula (1) and having a number average molecular weight of 300-50,000 is polymerized through a urethane bond, and the polymer has a polymerizable unsaturated group at the terminal and has a number average molecular weight of 1,000-100,000. In the formula (1), R<SB>1</SB>represents a hydrocarbon group which has one branch having a carbon number of≥2 or two or more branches each having a carbon number of≥1 and which has a carbon number of 5-150 in total.
