PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction preventing apparatus and electronic equipment which can prevent a PNP transistor in an off-state from being turned erroneously into an on-state even if power supply voltage of the PNP transistor rises rapidly. SOLUTION: A malfunction preventing circuit 1 includes a PNP type transistor Q3 and a resistance element R4. The resistance element R4 has one end connected to a power source of power supply voltage Vcc and the other end connected to a base of the transistor Q3. An emitter of the transistor Q3 is connected to the power source of power supply voltage Vcc and a collector of the transistor is connected to a base of a PNP type transistor Q2 of a switching circuit 2. The electrostatic capacity of a parasitic capacitance C1 and that of a parasitic capacitance C2 are the same, and a resistance value of the resistance element R4 is larger than that of a resistance element R1. When the power supply voltage Vcc rises rapidly, the transistor Q3 is turned from the off-state to the on-state before the transistor Q2 is turned from the off-state to the on-state.
