A resilient and flexible tuberous root cleaner consists of the following units arranged on a main frame in series: an inclined feed rod conveyer, a cleaner as a rotary hollow truncated cone made of spring steel as a pressure spring with a certain pitch and arranged on a central shaft in such a manner as to allow rotating, a blanket cleaner and an unloading conveyer. The cleaner is made as a resilient hollow body arranged in the space as an inclined one in such a manner as to allow rotating as regards to the frame formed by rotating a sinusoidal curve as the generatrix around the central axis of symmetry. The amplitude of a sinusoid along the median line extincts according to the geometrical progression, and the frequency is constant. The pitch of the coils of the spring along the body gradually changes from a larger one in the upper part of the body of the cleaner up to a lesser one in the lower part. |
