<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bringing a wild animal into contact with a vehicle and to utilize a rear animals as a sightseeing resources. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation system responding to wild animals comprises: a center server (10) for holding information of distribution data of the wild animals while putting it into a database, while performing a distribution service; and an onboard navigation device (21) for guiding the vehicle by receiving the wild animal distribution information from the center server (10). The onboard navigation device includes: a present position detecting means (23) for detecting the present position of an own vehicle; wild animal recognition means (30, 40) for recognizing the wild animals; a communication means (22); and a control means (24). Wherein, when the own vehicle enters the wild animal distribution area, the navigation device guides the vehicle responding to kinds of wild animals living in the area concerned, and when the wild animals are recognized by the wild animal recognition means, the information of the recognized wild animals is informed to the center server through the communication means (22) by the control means (24). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
