PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that cable connectors having a small number of poles easily drop out from a pin header due to vibration or shock when they are attached to the pin header. SOLUTION: A contact member 1 connected to a cable 3 is provided in a housing 2 of a cable connector 4. An end protrusion 2a is formed inside the end part of the housing 2 at a position close to a pin insertion port 2. A metal locking clip 6 is attached at the root of a pin post 5b of a pin header 5 on the side inserted to the cable connector 4 and the pin header includes the pin post 5b on an insulative substrate 5a. An outwardly extending protrusion is formed at the outer circumferential part of the top of the locking clip 6. When the cable connector 4 is inserted into the pin post 5b, the protrusion of the locking clip 6 bites in the end protrusion 2a of the housing 2 to prevent the cable connector 4 from dropping out.
