PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a plurality of illumination fixtures based on various detected information of surrounding environments of illumination fixtures, to perform more suitable illumination control for the surrounding environments of the illumination fixtures, and furthermore, to raise a freedom of system setting, in an illumination control system. SOLUTION: In each of a plurality of the illumination fixtures 3 constituting the illumination control system 1, a plug mounting fixture 36 is installed on which one of a plurality kinds of function plugs 4 is mounted, and by mounting various the plugs 4 on the plugs, the plurality of illumination fixtures 3 can be controlled based on the various detected information. Accordingly, the illumination control more suitable for the surrounding environments of the illumination fixtures 3 can be carried out compared with the case of a conventional illumination control based on a single kind of detected information. Furthermore, the plurality of illumination fixtures 3 can be set in one of a plurality of groups which operate according to the detected information by each function plug 4 while corresponding to the plurality kinds of function plugs 4, respectively, so that the degree of freedom of the system setting can be enhanced.
