PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a video signal output and precharge output independent from each other and to cause the voltage level of the same voltage level as the black level of the video signal output to be outputted as a precharge output level with satisfactory accuracy. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal drive circuit 20 is provided with a precharge output circuit 23 independently from a video signal output circuit 21, and an output video signal Vrgb and output precharge voltage Vp are both clamped. An inversion black level reference voltage Vh and a non-inversion black level reference voltage Vl are commonly used in a video signal output clamp circuit 22 for clamping the output video signal Vrgb and a precharge output clamp circuit 23 for clamping the output precharge voltage Vp.
