<p>The invention relates to a device for fastening an added part, particularly a sighting mechanism to a weapon in the region of the barrel, breech housing or cartridge chamber thereof, said region being made of ferromagnetic material. To this end, the device comprises a base plate made of non-ferromagnetic or magnetizable material and at least one magnet installation disposed indirectly or directly in the base plate, wherein the base plate has a surface directed away from the weapon for fastening the added part and an assembly surface directed toward the weapon, said assembly surface being configured on the weapon substantially in a manner that complements the shape and function of the associated contact surface such that, when the weapon is placed on the device, the assembly surface rests against the contact surface at least in regions or is disposed opposite thereof with little distance.</p> |
