A low power MBMS processing method and an apparatus thereof used in a wireless communication system are provided to prevent system resource and power waste in a receiving end by interrupting the reception end effectively. A control circuit(106) realizes the function of a communications device. A central processing unit(108) is positioned at the control circuit. A program code(112) is enforced in order to operate the control circuit. A memory(110) is connected to the central processing unit. When the state of RPC(Radio Resource Control) unit of the reception end is a dedicated state, the message for delivering the information of the area or MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) is received in the program code on a primary channel. |
