<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversal double-sided unit, and an image forming device, capable of simplifying reversal action, reducing the control load, and improving paper carrying performance at a reversal part. <P>SOLUTION: A first sheet of paper P1 is carried from a first sheet detection means 112 for a specified distance, and the rotation direction of a reversal roller 121 is then changed from the carrying-in side to the carrying-out side, and a reversal changing pawl 160 is changed to guide it to the carrying-out direction. In a case where the tip of a second sheet of paper P2 reaches a second sheet detection means 122 as the rear end of the first sheet remains at the second sheet detection means 122, nip of the reversal roller 121 is released. At the same time, the rotation direction of the reversal roller 121 is changed from the carrying-out side to the carrying-in side. No effects are given to the discharge of the first sheet P1 because nip is released. After the rear end of the first sheet P2 passes the second sheet detection means 122, nip of the reversal roller 121 is back (changed from release to nip), and the second sheet is carried by the reversal roller 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
