<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately determine whether to execute an alarming process about anomaly in monitored equipment according to the situation. <P>SOLUTION: When a signal reception part 13 of a monitoring apparatus 1 receives an anomaly notification signal from a transmission device of a monitored object, a source identification part 14 identifies the signal name of the anomaly notification signal. If a notification validation part 15 determines that the signal name of the anomaly notification signal is an alarming process enabling signal name according to notification class information stored in a notification class information storage part 22 of a storage device 12, a notification processing part 16 performs an alarming process such as a window display in the screen center or voice output indicating the anomaly at the source indicated by the signal name.
