<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot water storage type water heater having a heat pump unit arranged above a hot water storage tank and having high installation flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: In the hot water storage type water heater 100 having the heat pump unit 10 arranged above a hot water storage tank unit 90, a supply pipe in a circulation pipe line 30 leading from the lower part of the hot water storage tank via the heat pump unit 10 to the upper part of the hot water storage tank includes a first supply pipe part 31a connected to the lower part of the hot water storage tank, a second supply pipe part 31b connected to the heat pump unit 10, and a supply pipe connecting part 41a for interconnecting the first and second supply pipe parts 31a, 31b. A return pipe in the circulation pipe line 30 includes a first return pipe part 32a connected to the heat pump unit 10, a second return pipe part 32b connected to the upper part of the hot water storage tank, and a return pipe connecting part 41b for interconnecting the first and second return pipe parts 32a, 32b. The supply pipe connecting part 41a and return pipe connecting part 41b are arranged in an upper region of a case boy 40 covering the hot water storage tank, and the heat pump unit 10 is supported above the case body 40 by a support member 95 which is a separate body from the case body 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
