<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of failure information for diagnosis target devices, and perform diagnosis suitable for the use situation of a diagnosis target device. <P>SOLUTION: Diagnosis models which are classified for each type, failure content and use situation (elapsed time after introduction into the market, use frequency and use environment) are stored into a diagnosis model database 302b (S100 and S102). When a failure is diagnosed, use situation information for a diagnosis target device is acquired (S110), and a diagnosis model corresponding to it is selected and applied to it (S112). The optimized diagnosis model is transmitted to the diagnosis target device through a communication part 324 (S142), and failure diagnosis is performed using the diagnosis model received by the diagnosis target device. Accordingly, based on the use situation (elapsed time, use frequency and use environment) of the diagnosis target device, the diagnosis model is individually optimized, so that the diagnosis target device is diagnosed corresponding to the use situation and more accurate diagnosis is available. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
