<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining the quantity of a target substance with high sensitivity in such a method using an aptamer. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining the quantity of the target substance comprises detecting at least either of a physical change and a chemical change produced by binding the aptamer to a nucleic acid chain under conditions in which the target substance is competitively bound to the nucleic acid chain having a base sequence complementary to at least a part of the aptamer specifically binding to the target substance, and determining the quantity of the target substance on the basis of the resultant detection results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
