摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of terrestrial observation using a space vehicle having a time delay and integration (TDI) detector, wherein signal levels change with changes in ground surface resolution as the attitude of the space vehicle changes, in the case of the setting of the number of steps of TDI alone, since the number of steps of TDI, which is used to adjust the signal level of the TDI detector, is set in a discrete fashion for space vehicles, with the result that the image performance obtained varies with attitude conditions. SOLUTION: The signal level of TDI is determined by the integration time of TDI. When an observation plan is made, the integration time of TDI is controlled according to the attitude angle of the space vehicle and based on the number of steps of TDI and the speed at which the space vehicle moves on ground surface, whereby it is made possible to maintain the desired image performance regardless of the attitude conditions of the space vehicle.
